Built for big, gravity-fueled adventures, the Norco Range is the perfect bike for enduro racing and backwoods freeride sessions with our crew. The lightweight carbon fiber frame construction delivers the perfect balance of compliance and stiffness so that we can ride our hearts out without feeling completely smashed the next day. The Range gets Norco's High Virtual Pivot suspension that devours square edged hits thanks to the system's design which sends the rear wheel upwards and backwards, giving us an incredibly smooth and stable ride as we smash through technical terrain. With 170mm of travel front and rear and a slack 63. 5-degree headtube angle on a size medium, this bike begs us to send it down the steepest, gnarliest chute we can find. Plus, the Range not only gets size-specific seat tube angles and chainstay lengths, but also headtube angles that get a quarter degree steeper as we step down in size so that everyone can get their weight over the front tire effectively. The Norco Range C2 build is spec'd to endure the day-in, day-out abuses of enduro racing and training. The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain shifts reliably in just about any conditions and offers a wide gear range so that we don't find ourselves over-geared on the climbs or under-geared while descending. A pair of 4-piston SRAM Code R brakes get paired up with big rotors for plenty of stopping power when things start to get out of hand, while 29-inch Stan's Flow S2 wheels keep us rolling over just about any feature we find out on the course. Supsension duties are handled by a RockShox ZEB Ultimate up front and a custom-tuned Fox Factory DHX2 coil shock out back. Plus, every size gets a long dropper post to get our saddle completely out of the way so that we have full freedom to move about the bike on hair-raising descents. *Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change.
